Day 1 - Arriving in Kos, boarding after 17.00 and dining together in the city center.
Day 2 - Sailing in the morning from Kos Marina to Vathy on Kalymnsos. Lunch break in Pserimos - 28 km
Day 3 - Going round Kalymnos we will sail to Leros island with secluded beaches in between. Evening in Lakki - 48 km
Day 4 - We sail further North to the holly island of Patmos, with its famous monasteries and hidden beaches - 37 km
Day 5 - We either take a day to explore properly the Patmos island or we head towards nearby Lepsoi island - 30 km
Day 6 - Time to head South already and so we will sail from Lepsoi/Patmos to Leros (famous for its fantastic foof, among others) - 23 km
Day 7- Is the last day on the sea so we will squeeze every drop of wind and stop of course for lunch and bathing on Pserimos. Evening in Kos Marina - 52 km
The route we are proposing here is morea of a masterplan rather than a promise. When we depend on the wind to sail, we are flexible. In otther words, we will adapt our destinations and arrival time to best use the wind direction. The Capitan will make the sail plan each evening for the next day.
The North Dodecanese islands are a hidden paradise waiting to be discovered ! With relatively short distances between each other, every island is however unique and different.
From lively Kos to wild Kalymnos (the climber's Mecca), going to greener and quieter Leros and more North to Patmos - the island of the revelation, there is a lot to discover. Every evening will bring you to a new place, embraced by the unforgettable light shade of blue.
Because, we have to admit, no mater what we will tell you about the islands, is the Eastern Mediterranean Sea that will steal your hearth !

Our evenings
Evenings will always have their magic, but there is at least two kinds of magic. We either dock in a port or a marina for the evening and in this case we will have the freedom to explore ashore the true Greek cuisine and the party evenings. Or, we will set our anchor in a secluded bay where we will have time to cook by our self, swim, going ashore with our dinghy boat and party to our taste.
)
Where do we sleep
While with Happy Sailing, our boat will be your home for a week! With double beds cabins, few bathrooms, a small kitchen and a living room, aboard our ship you can have all the comfort you would expect from a guest house but in a narrower space. A typical sailing boat will feature one cabin in the front and two in the back haveing 1 to 3 toilets (heads). However, we will choose the boat size that is most suitable with the group )
IMAGE GALLERYOur food
Eating in a tavern or restaurant in a port is an experience by its own. If you have tasted Greek cuisine already, you know what I mean. And if you didn't, then expect fresh fish and sea food, expect everything to have a great taste and expect to want more.
In the same time we will cook on the boat ! In the mornings a quick breakfast, our lunches too, but also some of the evenings when we will stay at anchor. So, don't forget to bring along your cooking skills or be ready to participate in cooking together.)
